COB-INOX is a specialised stainless-steel cleaning and finishing product designed for professional use on metal, inox, and engine-bay surfaces. Formulated with highly refined petroleum distillates and performance-enhancing additives, it delivers excellent cleaning, degreasing, and shining capabilities. The product is suitable for industrial users, automotive detailers, film studios, workshops, and facility maintenance teams who require a fast-acting, streak-free finish on stainless steel and other metal surfaces.

Product Composition & Chemical Profile

COB-INOX is a mixture containing primarily heavy alkylate naphtha (85–95%), supported by silicone-derived surface modifiers, small concentrations of propan-2-ol, and trace conditioning agents. These components contribute to effective cleaning performance, rapid evaporation, and a polished final appearance. The mixture is classified under EU Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP) as a flammable liquid and may be harmful if swallowed or improperly handled.

Primary Hazards

Like many solvent-based professional cleaning products, COB-INOX includes hazards that must be managed responsibly:

• Flammable liquid and vapour – Keep away from open flames, sparks, and high heat sources.

• Aspiration hazard – May be harmful or potentially fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

• Eye and skin irritation – Direct contact may cause redness, irritation, or discomfort.

• Aquatic impact – Prolonged exposure to the environment may cause long-term effects; prevent uncontrolled release.

All personnel handling the product should follow appropriate precautions, including use of gloves and eye protection.

First Aid Measures

In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical assistance.
For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
If inhaled during fire situations or heavy fume exposure, move the person to fresh air and seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Rinse the mouth and obtain urgent medical care. Never give anything orally to an unconscious person.

Handling & Storage Guidelines

Store COB-INOX in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from ignition sources. Containers should remain tightly sealed when not in use and kept out of reach of children. Avoid transferring the product into unlabeled or incompatible containers. During use, avoid breathing vapours or letting the product come into contact with eyes or skin.
Do not store near strong acids or acid-reactive materials, as compatibility issues may occur.

Recommended Protective Equipment

When using COB-INOX in concentrated form, protective gloves (nitrile or butyl rubber), safety goggles, and adequate ventilation are recommended. In typical workshop or studio environments, using the product with standard PPE is sufficient. Respiratory protection is not normally required unless vapours accumulate during fire or in poorly ventilated areas. After dilution (e.g., for large-surface stainless cleaning), minimal protective measures are required, though gloves are still advised for frequent use.
